Feature Request for Smartform Worklist Control
 

Diagnoses

Customer wants to request for a feature enhancement on the Smartform Worklist control. They would like to have a feature to allow users to double click on the worklist item on to open up the form instead of having to click on the arrow button and click on open form.
 

Resolution

The feature already exists in 4.6.9 but it is not the default configuration as not everyone wants the same action to happen when they double-click on the worklist item. To open the worklist item when the user double-clicks on the item, please follow these steps:
1. Add a rule “When a control on a view/form raises an event”
2. Select the worklist control on the view/form
3. Select the “double-clicked” option
4. Add an action “Navigate to a URL” – when configuring the action, in the context browser under the data node of the worklist control, there is a property called “Worklist item URL” – use this as the Base URL
