Symptoms

After Sharepoint and domain migration, when attempting to update or create a new Sharepoint V2 or Sharepoint Content service instance, the follow error is thrown for some sites:

VALIDATION

The Sharepoint Service V2 Broker only supports Sharepoint Server 2010 and 2007. Verify the version of Sharepoint you're connecting to, and if it's Sharepoint 2013, user the SharePoint Broker instead.

Server was unable to process request. --andgt Feature '43bbc03a-2fe7-448a-a762-8172fb2d87a0' for list template '779' is not installed in this farm. The operation could not be completed.

Diagnoses

It looks like the GUID in the error indicates an 'Ontolica' feature that may have been previously installed and is no longer used:

When attempting to load the site within Sharepoint Manager, the same feature error and id was thrown.

Resolution

Deleting this orphaned feature using 'https://featureadmin.codeplex.com/' as well as deleting two lists associated with this feature ('OntolicaStyles' and 'OntolicaConfig') resolved the issue. The Sharepoint Service V2 was updated successfully afterwards.
