I am using Nintex with SharePoint 2013 on prem.

I want to do an import / export sp-web to move a site from one farm (test) to another (prod). There is an associated workflow. The documentation I saw around this move seemed to indicate that it would only work within the same farm.

What is the best approach here? I'm not so concerned with preserving workflow history, I just don't want the associations to get messed up after the move.

Thank you.

As you will need information from the Nintex configuration database as well it will not be exported / imported in one shot. You should be able to export / import the web and separately export / import the workflow though. Would that be an option?

Kind regards

Enrico

In this scenario, I would export the workflows pre-move, move the site via import / export sp web, then re-import the workflows to the moved site.

Is that what you would recommend?

Should I run any other commands? Such the Nintex prepare for export?

Thanks.

yup, that's what I'd do. Other commands shout not be necessary.
