Symptoms
The client wanted a way to make changes to the From field in the event notification.
Diagnoses
This from field is needed for smartactions and when using exchange to send mail.
Resolution
You can re-configure K2Server to use SMTP instead of Exchange Web Services to send mail. This will allow you to change the "from" field. But, using this type of configurations will not allow you to use smartactions.
