I'm evaluating K2 blackpoint.
I'm doing a workflow that should create a task in a list called "asset tasks".
I'm using the Create List Item and the Content type is set to task.
However the task is never created, and the workflow says "in progress". The steps that follow in the workflow are never executed.
Any suggestions for a newbie?
Start by going into workspace. Click management -> management console
Expand out your server and then expand out workflow server. Expand out processes and then expand out the name of your workflow (2x) then click Instances.
This will show you what is running. Hover above the word error and see what is causing the error.
After that I'd start by putting an email action to yourself at the start of the workflow. put Debug and the name of the workflow in the subject line. You can use this email to see exactly what data you are passing into the create sharepoint list.
