Hi,
I need to set escalations on a task depending on a date I extract from database and it is possible that the date can be modified.
If the date in the database is changed after the task is created, will the new date is considered for escalation or the date when the task is created?

The Escalation Rule (i.e. time of fire) is ONLY set when the Activity is instantiated and can not be altered after this. In order to change the time of Escalation, you need to expire the current Activity instance and re-instantiate it with the new Escalation time.
