Symptoms

When creating an escalation to fire ON a specific date and repeat it, the initial item does not escalate on the time selected. (When not adding repeats to the mix, all works as expected.)
 

Diagnoses

When looking at the server.async table, we can see that the repeat time gets added to the start time, and that is the time that gets written to the server.async table. This is not the desired result. The escalation should escalate ON the time selected, and then repeated every X minutes as configured.
 

Resolution

This has been confirmed as a bug. There is a TFS item that has been logged and this will be fixed in a future release of K2 blackpearl. As a workaround, we configured 2 escalations...

The 1st escalation is set to fire on a particular time. (With no repeats.)
The 2nd escalation is configured to send the repeat emails.
