Symptoms

I?ve run into a bit of a problem with the K2 installation. The error in the event log is ?Message Queuing was unable to create the msmq (MSMQ Configuration) object in Active Directory Domain Services. Error c00e0033h:?

I?ve tried to set the permissions as highlighted in the prerequisites documentation but haven?t had any success so far, and I?ve installed the Message Queuing Directory Services on both the domain controller and the K2 server.
 

Diagnoses

In event logs we are seeing error 2124 and 2116:
"The description for Event ID 2124 from source Microsoft-Windows-MSMQ cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer".

After a MSMQ reinstall and reboot we see:
?MQ_ERROR_COMPUTER_DOES_NOT_SUPPORT_ENCRYPTION?.


 

Resolution

The Network Service Account requires full access to the MachineKeys (C:ProgramDataMicrosoftCryptoRSAMachineKeys).
