Hi,

I have created a simple workflow event on a custom SharePoint list using K2 studio. I have not used any smart object. But while deploying the workflow I get some error related to SmartObject.

I have tried the solution mentioned in blog

http://www.k2underground.com/forums/t/12386.aspx

, but it didn't help.

Any help would be appreciated.

Error message shown is

SmartObject Server Exception: Could not publish SmartObject Definition to server: Error refreshing Service Instance 'WorkflowReportingService'. Service returned : 'Workflow Reporting SO Service: The partner transaction manager has disabled its support for remote/network transactions. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8004D025)

I've typically seen this error when Microsoft DTS is not enabled on the components that you have K2 installed on.  I.E. Your K2 App server, SharePoint and SQL.  Take a look at the following section of the online help and then try enabling MSDTC on your servers with the settings as specified.  http://help.k2.com/en/K2blackpearlGettingStarted4.6.aspx?page=MSDTC.html

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the reply. But I'm not able to see the post even after logging into the K2 portal. It shows message

"Knowledge Center Access Failed: You are either not logged in or you do not have a current K2 portal account with the correct access level. Please log in above or contact your local K2 Sales Representative."

Will it be possible for you to post it here or can i refer the post from somewhere else also.

You can access the same topic from the built in K2 blackpearl documentation.
