Symptoms
When I try to deploy a view which uses a custom validation pattern, I receive the following error:
- Method not found: 'SourceCode.Forms.Management.ValidationPattern SourceCode.Forms.Management.FormsManager.SetValidationPattern(SourceCode.Forms.Management.ValidationPattern)'
Diagnoses
It seems like after deploying the coldfix which is mentioned in KB001680 - http://help.k2.com/kb001680 - specifically TFS _514111 - the functionality to deploy custom validation patterns has also been affected.
Resolution
Labs have created a new TFS item for this and as of now, the coldfix being supplied for KB001680 - TFS _514111 - has also been updated to fix this functionality. The new TFS item number is _545473
