Error when accessing Smart Objects Lists and Libraries page in Sharepoint
 

Diagnoses

Hello,

We are running 4.6.7 and we just moved over to our prod environment. When trying to access the SmartObject Lists and Libraries page via SharePoint we are receiving the following error.

'Error: Deserializing typr:"'SourceCode.SmartObjects.Authoring.service.explorer"message:element is an invalid XMLnodetype line 1, position 4352450"
 

Resolution

The issue stemmed from the fact that the K2 for SharePoint app was running 4.6 while the K2 Host Server was running 4.6.7 hence throwing the error. Upgrading K2 for SharePoint to match versions eased the issue.
