Symptoms
when accessing the K2 Designer:
Server Error in '/Identity/STS/Windows' Application.
>ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index and length must refer to a location within the string.
Parameter name: length]
This only happens on the 2nd server.
The host file has been manipulated so that the shared cluster address (k2.DOMAIN.XXXX.XXXX) always points to the local server.
I found a post in the support forum that this error message means that the actual error is too big to display.
Please advise how to display the full error.
Diagnoses
Server Error in '/Identity/STS/Windows' usually points to Claims, taking a look at the claims Config might give some answers.
Resolution
Client fixed the issue the following way:
First we took a look at this Document:

Then the Client noted that the K2 OAuth High trust certification is the issue and followed these instructions to repair it:
