Symptoms

Getting the following error in K2 Studio trying to deploy an existing workflow to DEV.

>Process Name] SmartObject Server Exception: SmartObject name must be unique. Name 'Rpt__Process Name]_ Process Name]' exists on the system. SmartObject: [Process Name] Process Instances]
 

Diagnoses

The reason you are receiving this error was because the GUID for 'Rpt_tProcess Name]_ _Process Name]'SmartObject was changed in this environment and not the same as the one in the process.
 

Resolution

By unchecking “Create Workflow Reporting SmartObjects” option under Associations in K2 Studio allow the process to be deployed successfully.
