error message when I tried to connect K2 Designer for SharePoint from any SharePoint 2010 site
 

Diagnoses

Customer was getting the following error when trying to launch K2 Designer for SharePoint from any SharePoint 2010 site in this environment.
“An unexpected error has occurred. Please contact your system administrator for more information”

 

Resolution

We were able to resolve the issue by activating K2 Features from SharePoint App server and selecting the App Pool account that run the SharePoint site as Deployment Application Pool.
