Diagnoses

When trying to register the updated K2 app on our SharePoint 2013 server, we get an error during the "SharePoint Service Broker" step, which states the following:

Service returned : 'The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.Failed to initialize the Context: URL: http://docs-tst2013.scee.net Username: Error Details: Method: SharePointService.initializeContext SPRequestGuid : 2b0f0c9d-c018-d08b-5893-4a539beb8d1f '.

Resolution

Run the power shell script for the Sharepoint 2013 App install (S2S Script within the K2 for SharePoint install folder.)
Make sure that the K2 for SharePoint port is open (port 6332). This should allow the host server to directly pink the SharePoint server successfully.
Please have a look at the following help guide in regards to ports.

http://help.k2.com/kb001318

The port can turned on for deployment and then further turned off once it has been completed.
