Symptoms

When deploying a PandD package, the following error pops up when we try to map the SP list service object in the target environment.:

System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Length cannot be less than zero.
Parameter name: length

 

Diagnoses

It seems there is something wrong with the package.
 

Resolution

We created a new PandD package in the original environment and only included the necessary items. We then tried to deploy it again using the PandD MMC console in the target O365 environment and were able to get past this error, but there were a few other things that needed to be resolved first (like making sure all the SP2013 Service Instances were refreshed and working correctly by running the Registration Wizard in the K2 app in Site Contents).

Finally the package was able to be deployed.
