Symptoms

A regular user in out environment, ""USER]", fills out a SmartForm which is saved into a SmartObject. The SmartForm is then used to start a Workflow. In the first Activity, a SmartObject Event is used to create the PDF from a URL. The URL is formed from the SmartForm, for example ((MYSMARTFORMURL]). The created PDF is then used as an email attachment in the next Email Event. The email is received with the PDF attachment. The problem is that the PDF attachement is not created properly. The PDF contains a security message "Worklist item could not be opened.....".
 

Diagnoses

In order to resolve the PDF issue, the customer would need to redesign the workflow logic.
 

Resolution

I provided customer a link to setup PDF file with email event in the workflow.
