Symptoms

Please find attached the errors I get when invoking a K2 Smartobject after upgrading K2 to 4.6.11 from 4.6.7 on stagingenvironment. This code and Smartobject used to work fine before the upgrade.
 

Diagnoses

after the upgrade, the Workflow reporting services instance was throwing an error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Checking the Service Instance it looked ok. After hours of troubleshooting. Running the K2 Server in console mode gave us the clue.


 

Resolution

After reproducing the environment with the user's DB. We were able to repro the issue.

Doing some debugging with K2 running in console mode we noticed that it was referencing the Environment Library.

After reviewing the Environment Library the Default One didn't had the Workspace Field values as the Web Services URL values.

Once we input the correct values everything worked as expected.
