Symptoms


1 user experienced an error on the K2 Mobile app that just said "Sorry, something went wrong." This happened over the weekend, on a Saturday, and after a refresh of the page inside the app, the error went away. This happened on an iPad device (not sure which iOS version, presumably iOS 7).

 

Diagnoses


Client attached all the necessary logs which included K2 Host Server error logs, HTTP Error logs, ULS logs. Since the error message "Sorry, something went wrong" is the same as in SharePoint, we also requested SP ULS logs. Unfortunately, there were very many different errors logged for the time period over the entire Saturday, so we couldn't completely pin point when this happened and why this happened.

 

Resolution

Unfortunately, due to this error happening only one time to one user over a weekend and we cannot reproduce it, we have to conclude that this is a one time error and is most likely due to network issues (since according to the phone/tablet screenshot, the user was using 3G data connection and not a more stable WiFi connection.
