Symptoms

When running K2 in console mode as the K2 Service account (dev license), the following issue occurs but not when running with another user's account.

a. The Environment Library fields does not show up when K2 console mode is running as the K2 Service account
b. When running the Package and deployment MMC while the K2 console mode is running as the K2 Service account an error regarding the WindowsBase assembly occurs

"Either a required impersonation level was not provided, or the provided impersonation level is invalid. (0x80070542)"
 

Diagnoses

Also, when launching K2 in console mode as the K2 Service account, there was an Audit Failure regarding the Service account, the SeCreateGlobalPrivilege rights and the K2HostServer.exe executable.
 

Resolution

Granting the K2 Service Account local administrator rights resolve both issues.
