Endpoints WCF Broker SmartObject threw exception 10702 Error occurred in the service, There was an error in compiling the proxy code.
 

Diagnoses

I have a WCF service that we have created an Endpoints WCF broker type SmartObject for. This service and SmartObject has been working fine in our production environment. However, today we received an exception stating that the SourceCode.SmartObjects.ServiceBrokere'ExecuteSmartObject] 10702 An Error occurred in the NotifyEndpointsWCF Service Instance. There was an error in compiling the proxy code. I tried again a few minutes later and it worked. We have had this service and SmartObject deployed for awhile, did quite a bit of testing before deployment and have never seen this error before.

 

Resolution

Codefix supplied from K2 labs, had been applied. New DLL fixes the issue with the WCF service and the 10702 errors.
