Symptoms

When integrating SAP for K2 Connect with Visual Studio, there is an error that gets thrown.

"Cannot call classic RFC API. See help for details.
Please put a recent 32-bit version of librfc32.dll in your SysWOW64 folder (typically C:WindowsSysWOW64).
See SAP note 413708. Please make sure you have installed Visual C 2005 SP1 ATL Security Update (x86)."
 

Diagnoses

After checking the directory for the correct files, we saw that the librfc32.dll files were in the correct place, but that the msvcp71.dll files were not in directory.
 

Resolution

After placing the .dlls in the correct locations, the integration and installation was able to proceed without any further issues.
