Email notification not working

When adding or updating a list item, the email task is not sending. Customer on Appit trial, not able to progress until this is resolved. Video to follow
 

 

Resolution

I was able to reproduce the issue:
It's not a K2 bug but rather by design.
The email event uses item reference field as the TO address.
The item reference is based on the email column of a list which is filled in when process is started.
Because the item is move to another list when the workflow reaches the email event the reference cannot be establish and it causes an error.
Suggest the client use a DataField to store the reference item and use the DataField as the TO address.
