Symptoms

I have the following scenario:
The exchange mail server is down and a process instance event is executed, a notification will be sent but since the exchange is down an error will be logged in the server event viewer and the task is moved o the next step.

what i want to find a way to send the notification and to keep it in the queue until the exchange is up again.

Diagnoses

he can use client email event in an independent activity as an alternative. once ntification is sent it becomes in the eventbus wich is outside the k2 scope.

Resolution

Resolution:
"
Email notifications are processed outside the domain of the process instance.
I hope that you agree with me that when we speak about Eventbus we are dealing with an entity outside the domain of k2. it is in the windows operating system domain. so the focus should be on the eventbus entity not k2.
