Is it possible to alter the value of the Sender in automated email messages from Appit?

Currently, our workflow email messages come, for example, from ABCD123@appit.com. Because some of our planned projects will email to people who are familiar with our company's name, but who do not know "appit" and have no context knowing for "ABCD123"--it would be nice to have a setting in our configuration where we could set a friendly name "chosenname@appit.com," for instance.

Even better would be the option to create alias names within the workflow building process to use as the sender--so "HRDepartment@appit.com" for one workflow context and "Finances@Appit.com" for another context.
 

Resolution

This feature request is not possible at this time. Trying to configure this can cause issues with the Appit infrastructure and might lead to security issues. Another potential side effect is that environments may get "out of sync".
