Symptoms


I get this message after every action in workflow: The K2 server could not find the worklist item 'item'. This item may have been actioned by another user. The full error from the K2 server is 'The worklist item 'item' is no longer available or you do not have rights to open it.'.
 

Diagnoses


Outdated design templates hare causing an issue with access worklist items.
 

Resolution

In a meeting with the customer, we were able to resolve warnings while deploying the process by updating the design templates. After redeploying, the customer was able to action the process items without receiving duplicate SmartActions replies. After monitoring for some time, the issue has not occurred again.
