I am creating cascading DDLs populated from a single SharePoint List. DDL1 contains a region and DDL2 contains the counties in that region. DDL1 shows a region value for every county listed even if the region is duplicate. Is there any way to filter for unique values for each DDL?

Hi,
I have also come across a similar issue when attemping to filter out duplicate values within a drop-down list with a dynamic datasource. What I have normally done in this situation is to use a drop-down list with static values, however this isn't always a viable option.
I would suggest logging a support ticket as a feature request for this functionality.
