Symptoms


I am experiencing a very weird issue whereby I have 2 workflows that are named exactly the same under 2 different headings that are doing 2 different things.

I am deploying the workflow from K2 Designer but it is updating one and not the other, however, the one which the form is using is the other workflow!?!

Therefore I can't make the changes I need to the workflow that is being run.
 

Diagnoses


The client has two workflows with the name on two different categories,
however when they update for instance workflow 1, it updates workflow 2, instead of workflow 1.

We also deleted the rules for the workflow the client no longer wants to use on Workspace , we removed all the process rights configured.

On smartforms we are still getting the an error saying we dont have rights to start the workflow.


As a workaround the client is considering creating a new workflow and re-configuring it to the form again.
