I am trying to format the worklist control conditionally, such as if the item is overdue that the row will be highlighted (for example). I've even tried modifying the default styles and none of the changes seem to be taking. I am viewing in runtime mode. Is it possible to do conditional formatting on a worklist control?

Unfortunately it is not possible to conditionally format a row in the worklist based on its status. Your only alternative at the moment would be to write your own worklist control. I'd suggest putting in a feature request at http://help.k2.com/feedback
