Hi Experts, Would like to have your expert comments regarding Email listening capability of K2.

 

Does it have any exchange or IMAP interface to listen incoming mails of a particular mailbox and can trigger a workflow process?

 

If K2 doesn't have it in OOB, then is there any alternative way to achieve this ?

Hi,

 

Not out of the box, we have an import module that can achieve this (import from imap or exchange web services, file source). During import you can retrieve e-mail details and use these as variables to start your K2 process (export).

 

The configuration module (actual module runs as a service) is in English. The manual isn't yet, but for such a simple configuration I don't think you'll need a manual.

Another alternative: Out of the box, SharePoint can import emails from Exchange into a particular list. You can then trigger a K2 process from the SharePoint list.
