Does anyone know how to configure email notifications in Nintex Forms so that the checkbox selections show up?

Instead of a selection I am receiving the following: Type of Request: {"__metadata":{"type":"Collection(Edm.String)"},"results":["Course"]}

Thanks

not really sure I understand what you are trying to achieve - can you send some screen shots please?

Thanks for responding.

I have a form that folks fill out get funding for classes that they would like to take. The form has a field called “Type of Request” and has several options. The submitter can pick one or many options e.g. Seminar, webinar, course, conference etc.

This is how I have configured the email notification (Assign a task). You will notice that Type of Request is {Current Item:Type of Request}

The problem is that even though I have set up the email notification to look at this field, when the email is actually generated it doesn’t pull the selection(s) made by the submitter. This is what is sent to the person receiving the email (below).

I appreciate your help!

can you show me the column settings for that field please?

can you also "log in history list" item property: type of request so that we can see in the workflow history what it is pulling back?

is this on prem?

Hi Kavita Balarajan

Nintex provides a way for you to format the text displayed for choice fields. Unfortunately by default it shows the json string, so you will need to change it to the more presentable option of "Choices, Comma Delimited". Please see the link to a screen recording I made for how to do it.

The result of formatting can be seen in the 2nd line of the email notification in the link below.

Finally, you can also change the formatting of the text displayed in your email (via same steps) so that it displays the person's name.
