I'm uploading an InfoPath form to a form library and mapping fields from the form to metadata columns on the library. I'm finding some fields aren't being set. I've had issues with mapping InfoPath date fields to SharePoint Date columns, though I tried a test date field that mapped correctly to a test date column. I've also found that some, but not all text fields aren't being mapped. 

I've had troubles with columns in the past but they've been related to names in K2 (multiline filed called 'Notes') These are the InfoPath fields and their corresponding SharePoint columns that aren't working.

EndDate -> End of Absence

OtherDescription -> Other Absence Description

SickPerson -> Sick Person

StartDate -> Start of Absence

I tried setting Start of Absence to StartOfAbsence, which is it's internal name and the upload works, however other fields don't appear to require using the internal name.
