+9I need to assign a document acknowledgment task to about 800+ users. Can I simply add an AD group to a flexi task and check the "Create individual tasks for all group members"? Are there any limitations that could prevent the workflow from creating so many individual tasks? Thanks!

the option you have stated doesn't create individual tasks for AD groups, only for SharePoint Groups. That's because SharePoint is not able to "explode" an AD Group,
If you have a SharePoint Group with all that membership, I don't know any known limitation on that.
Just take care of the tasks list because it could get over 5000 items soon if a similar workflow runs often..
