Symptoms

When executing the "Get User Details" method in the UMUser SmartObject, the "Display Name" section does not show up. This in turn will result in Picker Controls for example not being able to search using the "Display Name" property.
 

Diagnoses

We have traced the issue to this community article:

It comes down to that some properties are missing in the RoleInit  of the Security Lable.



 
 

Resolution

The resolution for this involves editing a table in the K2 database, so backing up of said database is highly recommended before making any changes.

A SQL script will have to be written to take the existing XML and just add the missing lines to it. Please contact your local K2 support for help with this, since there might be some other things missing / wrong with the XML in that table.
