Can we disable K2 apps from crawling. We don't want K2 web apps sites to come up in search when doing SharePoint search. We need to know if there are any negative ramifications if we disable K2 from crawling. Meaning if K2 functionality might ne affected if we exclude K2 sites from being crawled?
Diagnoses
The customer doesn't want K2 web apps to be seen in the SharePoint search.
Resolution
Yes. K2 functionality will not be affected if you exclude K2 sites from being crawled. It should only affect the SharePoint content search. Please see the following Microsoft documentation:
