Disabled multi-line control using rule, which doesn't allow to scroll the text in IE Browser

I have a Nintex form with Multi Line text field.

Disabled the Multi Line text field by a rule based on condition.

Scroll bar is not working when the user enters more lines.

In chrome, the scroll is working when the control is disabled. we can see the entire value in the field.

But in IE the scroll is not working. Hence unable to see the value.

I have checked the Nintex blogs, but dint get any solution

Is there any fix for this.
