If I set the Escalation Minutes, Hours, and Days to zero in the Flexi-Task, does that disable escalation? Or does that mean it will instantly escalate when the Task is created?

Hi Chris,
if you set the values to 0 the escalation will be performed ASAP. It won't be instantly as SharePoint is not a real time environment but normally the escalation will be performed within the next 5 minutes.
If escalation needs to be disabled you need to set the escalation type to None.
