Hello,

Is there a difference in resource allocation between a K2 server running using a development license and one using a production license.

I'm asking because I'm watching some perfmon counters (private bytes) increasing for the K2 server process. Since this morning it seems to have grabbed about 10MB without any active process instances.

TIA!

Hi,

The K2 Documentation mentions that the Development license has single-threaded execution (Getting Started > K2 blackpearl Installation Guide > Prerequisites > K2 Platform Licensing http://help.k2.com/helppages/k2blackpearl/page=RTM_Reference_-_K2_Platform_Licensing.html).

I suspect that your production server will be using more memory because it uses more threads. I cannot think of anything else, unless some program connected to your K2 Server which might have caused the increase in memory without your knowledge.

I hope this helps!

Regards,

Hi again,

The process is not in production yet. I was waiting to do some more research and figure out If I have a real or just a perceived issue.

Thanks again
