Deployment SharePoint SmartObject missing reference
 

Diagnoses

When deploy the package using K2 deployment and package tool, for SharePoint SmartObject will always show missing reference and i need to reconfigure and do the manual mapping.

Is there any way to standardize the both development and production environment, so that the deployment did not require manual mapping?
 

Resolution

PandD will attempt to correct reference errors on its own, but however occasionally due to environmental factors, it cannot match even if a clear match is visually found.

As the smartobject already exists in the environment, you would need to manually configure the mapping, which means "use existing smartobject" to correctly connect to the existing smartobjects.
