This error happens when moving to the new SQL 2012 server in production on Friday, all appears to be working except for deployments, usually DTC problems on the SQL server but this has been checked and still does not appear to be working.
Resolution
It would be recommended that to have a look at the following help file that goes in detail about how MSDTC is set up.

If this does not appear upon the page, please do type MSDTC in the search box located at the bottom right hand corner. You will see that a few options will appear, please go through each one and check these against your own settings also.
You may also use the MSDTC tester tool to test the connection between SQL and K2. This will give you a bit more information on what may be going wrong with your MSDTC set up. You can check out the following help file directly below:

Please also ensure that the compatability level for SQL is the same as the previous SQL server as this can cause restrictions as well.
