Yes, I am working with the VM. 

For example when i try the 100IAH lab, whil adding the sharepoint event process, in the connection settings, the portal (http://portal.denallix.com) should already be there as per the lab, but it's not there and even i add it and test it is not successful.

I was wondering if you ran the scripts that create the sharepoint pages for your labs. Was there anything loaded on the desktop when you first accessed the VM? Copied is a URL to a PDF that gives some instruction in regards to setting up the VM.

Did you get a 401 error message when trying to test the connection to the site? If you hardcode 'http:/portal.denallix.com' site to the site url field, would it work?
