Symptoms

Trying to delete a workflow in Appit results in the error User "K2SQL::KUID] does not have Administrator rights. "

Diagnoses

This happens with workflows that have never been deployed, but only saved. Deploying the workflow allows it to be deleted.

This does not happen if the checkbox for "All versions and running instances" remains unchecked. It appears that it is because a workflow that has never been deployed does not have any additional versions or running instances, causing K2 to try to delete information that does not exist which throws an exception.

Resolution

Leaving the checkbox for "All versions and running instances" blank when deleting the saved workflow allows the workflow to be deleted without issue. A usability bug has been logged to disable this checkbox if the workflow has never been deployed.
