Symptoms

Looking for a way to delete an old workflow created automatically when the "K2 Application" is enabled (clicked) in a custom list in SharePoint.
I deleted the process from the K2 Workspace, and I removed the rule to start the workflow from the rule "When Save button is clicked". But when the save button to create a new item is clicked, K2 smartforms displays an error pop up box saying "25223 Process {the workflow name} not found". (See the attached screenshot)

Is there anything that must be done to delete it? What is the "correct" way to completely delete a K2 workflow that was created through the K2 Application automatic forms/smartobjects/workflow generation?

Diagnoses

The error looks to be related to a rule that started the workflow, as well as needing an IIS and K2 service reset.

Resolution

Customer had to delete the associated rule calling the workflow from the Save button clicked event in addition to the removal of the workflow from the K2 for SharePoint 2013 App. A k2 blackpearl server service’s restart and an iisreset were also needed in order to resolve the issue.
