Hi Community,

i wanted to use the "decommision site collection" Action to set a sitecollection in read only mode.

The description of this Actions says, that there should be 3 Options:

  • read only
  • no Access
  • delete

In my case, only "delete" is available.

We're still on SharePoint 2010 with Nintex Version 2.4.7.10

Is there something i Need to do to get the other Options?

The following help information is given:

The decommission action to apply.

  • Read only users can access the site but cannot make changes. This option provides an input to specify the reason this action was taken.
    Note: To apply this decommission action, SharePoint requires the workflow to run on the Central Administration site. 
  • No access users cannot access the site, the site collection is not deleted. This option provides an input to specify the reason this action was taken.
    Note: To apply this decommission action, SharePoint requires the workflow to run on the Central Administration site. 
  • Delete the site collection is removed.

So the other two options are only available on the Central Administration site.
