Symptoms

I need help to find why error occurs when I ran the form in startup. I check KB000298 and find no indication to resolve this issue. Please help!


 

Diagnoses

Data fields are get created on workflows and used to store and transfer information, so the error should becoming from the Workflow. Reviewing the SmartForms rules for the SmartForms workflow we discovered that a datafiled was used but was not anymore in the workflow. We removed that from the rule.
 

Resolution

After we fixed it everything worked. Also, a feature request was created to populate SmartForms controls from XML fields.
