Symptoms
Customer has K2 Blackpearl Smartforms Smartforms Control Pack installed and working, but now needs to move the database to a new server.
For this change, how can I reconfigure the K2 db connection? Is there a one-stop change for everything?

Resolution
It is fairly straightforward to reconfigure K2 to point to a new database location. However, since both blackpearl and smartforms maintain references to the database, it is necessary to reconfigure each separately.
Please see Scenario _4 of the following KB article for the blackpearl instructions. Smartforms will be similar.

You should reconfigure blackpearl prior to reconfiguring smartforms. Please remember to use the Configure option in setup manager, for simplicity's sake.
