Symptoms
Will K2 blackpearl server and its K2 database run on anything other than SQL Server? If we wanted to use K2 blackpearl with Amazon RDS, or Oracle, or MySQL, etc, is that possible or must K2 blackpearl always run on SQL Server?
Diagnoses
K2 blackpearl requires a Microsoft SQL back-end. AS of 4.7, that means either MS SQL Server, or Azure SQL.
Resolution
A feature request has been logged for using MySQL or Amazon Database Services as the back-end database for K2 blackpearl.
