I have a custom service object (actually the Caprivi CAML one in the blackmarket) that I have created Smart Objects from.

I've modified the service object code to add a new method. I've built the dll and uploaded to the K2 server and restarted the server. Using the Smart Object tester, I refreshed my Service Instance and see the new method..

How do I get the new method down to my Smart Object. I tried the "recreate smartobject" button, but it doesn't do anything.

Do I simply delete and create a new one with the same name in the same category? Or will that break the few processes I have using it already? Essentially, what are the upgrade procedures for custom Service Objects/Instances and SmartObjects?

Also, I think I have run into this with SharePoint smart objects. how do I update those when the list changes (add/remove columns)?
