Symptoms


CRM Broker Connection issue Post 4.7 Upgrade. Strike is using the out of box CRM broker to connect to CRM. We are using a Static user for authentication and is configured as below.

This works fine for a while. However after the system is idle for a period of time we start receiving errors "An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party". This happens in the smart object tester and on the forms.

To troubleshoot we have done the following.

1. Refresh the service instance. This fixes the problem temporarily but it will recur when the system is idle.
2. Point to a different instance of CRM. This instance is current and known to be working with K2 4.6.9. The same error occurred.
3. Reset IIS on the K2 server. No change.
4. Review the logs in K2, CRM, and AD. K2 log shows the same error. CRM and AD logs show no anomalies.
5. Review the Event log on the K2 server. Nothing that points to the cause of the problem.

 

Diagnoses


This is a known behavior.


 

Resolution




A codefix was sent to resolve the issue. This ticket has been linked to the corresponding TFS item.
