Currently I am trying to build a workflow that is triggered off items being created in a library, but this item then creates tasks for users to complete. The problem I seem to face is that I can't seem to create task forms unless I do an InfoPath or SharePoint Workflow integration, which don't seem to trigger unless you have an initialization form.

This workflow is designed to generate tasks for hundreds of legacy items being imported from an old system but are still in process, so doing a starter form for each isn't really practical.

Is there a way to create tasks without using these integrations? Barring that, is there a sufficient work around?
